Telemetry overlay and comparison, with analysis of qualifying. Been searching for something like this for years. Gives us a better insight for the "best chassis" argument Jody : D
It even goes into the Merc's Q3 engine mode argument.
I'll bring it to everyone attention here initially, but post the sites latest articles in the corresponding race threads.
Melborune Qualyfing:
Hamilton vs Raikkonen
Hamilton vs Verstappen
Verstappen vs Alonso (Q2)

Liberty and FOM will be unveiling their plans for the future of the sport covering, technical rules and all things money.
This is all happening behind closed doors.
Do you think fans/F1 world should be kept in the loop?
I'd personally l think they should. User group testing, which is critical for a product. F1 is a self proclaimed 'business' and for a business not to test its product is begging for failure. Release an overview of proposes and potential impacts and see fans reactions. I guess the problem is 'informed reactions', so produce a report of the simulations they must of run.
A small excerpt an from article over on Motorsport entitled `Why Mercedes and Ferrari are allies in F1`s new war....
"The trouble now is that Sergio has come out and said, 'The next time I see you, I'm going to punch you in the face.' And when he sees the people he's got to be sure that he's going to punch them in the face. And Sergio is not the guy that makes threats as a joke and then runs away from it."
Always saw Sergio more `mole from wind in the willows` than Rocky Balboa

Apparently this story is doing the rounds in Italy and is being taken seriously by people there. Would Lewis really switch Mercedes, a team that is looking utterly dominant for Ferrari? I totally get why Vettel would want to go the other way, the weird thing for me was the request that Hamilton wanted Bottas with him... that seems weird... Hamilton has publicly supported at Mercedes, but they're not bestest buddies, and Lewis has NEVER request a set team mate. He's also constantly stated that Bottas needs to prove he's worth a Mercedes seat.Thoughts?
Being a big Kimi fan i wonder if there are any out thete who share the great Stirling Moss's view that Kimi was simply the fastest man he'd seen? All about opinion ofc. Anyway its surely his last year and ive enjoyed watching him race (when he can be bothered ). IMO probably unlucky not to be double world champion owing to reliability of the Mclaren. Anyway thpughts welcome good or bad or just damn ugly

Probably not a secret but can only see Danny Ric wanting the Scuderia as he has Italian heritage himself, Kimi will leave the end of the season and become an F1 analyst with his non stop chatter . I cannot see Ric going anywhere else personally
With the comment made earlier this week that we could see more DRS zones added to tracks. Bahrain track is probably a guarantee. Probably for two new zones, each hopefully with their own detection zones, enabling counter attacking.
Between corners:-
3-4
13-14
The second straight between corners 3 & 4 usually offers alot of overtaking attempts naturally. So maybe adding a DRS zone could cheapen the show. I'd like to see one between 13 & 14, as it could throw up some interesting fights into the last corner, that could then compromise the long start finish straight, causing closer racing.
Be interesting to see if McLaren testing focus on the softer tyre compounds will pay off with their "aggressive" tyre selection. A few things indicated last race their car is kind on tyres. We'll know alot more about chassis tyre care from all teams after this race.
I was reading how those running F1 are to lay out a `blueprint` to teams over the Bahrain weekend, I read Mr Marko commenting he "did not see the MGU-H staying". This is not the first time I have read or heard about doing away with the unit... Why are they wanting to get rid of it? We have seen this device turning up on road vehicles under the guise of e-turbo`s over the last few years so it is somewhat relevant. Is this purely a money saving thing or have I missed the point? Anyone know?
Just in case anyone is interested.
