F1 Brazilian Grand Prix weather forecast - storms threaten Sao Paulo weekend.
Friday
Friday currently holds the weekend's most concerning weather, with FP1 due to be held in 30 degree Celsius heat with a 40 per cent chance of thundery showers.
Being a sprint weekend, the one and only practice session will be vital for teams and drivers in their bid to gain as much data as possible.
In what could be a disrupted session, the skies also bring a threat of rain to qualifying, with a 37 per cent chance of precipitation expected in the final event of the day.
Saturday
Things should calm down as the weekend progresses, but scattered showers remain a threat for Saturday's sprint action.
The shootout currently has a 20 per cent chance of rain with slightly cooler temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius.
And although only marginal, the chance of rain increases for the sprint race itself, as drivers and teams keep tabs on their weather radars for what is set to be a 22 per cent threat of light showers.
Sunday
Sunday's feature race is, at the moment, set to be a clear day with no rain whatsoever expected to fall on the circuit for the weekend's conclusion.
Temperatures will also cool to just 23 degrees for lights out, with winds remaining very light at just eight miles per hour.
Although the main race may well be dry, fans could be treated to a jumbled-up grid for those who get their strategy right in what could be a chaotic qualifying on Friday.
Red Bull to give Max Verstappen bodyguards at Sergio Perez’s home race, the F1 Mexico City Grand Prix.
Red Bull will reportedly give Max Verstappen two bodyguards to protect him this weekend in Mexico.
While his teammate Sergio Perez returns to home soil where he is idolised at the F1 Mexico City Grand Prix, it’s a different story for Verstappen.
Last weekend in Texas his victory was loudly booed by Mexican fans in attendance.
Red Bull will, therefore, take no chances this weekend when Verstappen steps onto Perez’s home turf.
Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko confirmed to F1-Insider the presence of two bodyguards tasked with protecting Verstappen.
“Max doesn't really want to do that and is relaxed,” Marko said.
“But we have a responsibility for him. That's why we just want to be on the safe side."
Threats via social media were a main reason why Red Bull opted for extra security, the report states.
Red Bull also reportedly expect Perez to minimise the hostility from fans aimed at Verstappen through a public statement.
USA GP Prix weather forecast
Friday
FP1 gets underway at 12:30pm local time in what is set to be 28 degrees Celsius, with light winds from the north west blowing across the track.
The temperature then ramps up for Friday's qualifying – setting the grid for Sunday's race owing to the spring weekend format – with drivers bracing for 32 degree heat.
Saturday
The sprint festivities start early on Saturday afternoon, with the sprint shootout forecast to take place in a slightly cooler heat of 26 degrees Celsius.
The winds remain calm throughout the weekend, and in a similar theme to Friday, temperatures are once again due to climb, with some forecasts even predicting highs of 34 degrees on Saturday.
Sunday
Sunday brings more cloud coverage than any of the previous days across the weekend, yet the air temperature is not expected to relent.
Drivers can expect to be racing in conditions of 32 degrees Celsius as the lights go out, with track temperature no doubt ensuring that tyre strategy becomes a vital part of the weekend.
Daniel Ricciardo is not yet fit enough to return for AlphaTauri at the Qatar Grand Prix, meaning Liam Lawson will again step in this weekend.
Red Bull reserve driver Lawson was drafted in to fill Ricciardo's seat after he sustained a hand injury during a practice session ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix.
Ricciardo had initially targeted a potential comeback in Singapore but upon further reflection then shifted his focus to climbing behind the wheel in Qatar.
However, journalist Chris Medland has reported that the Australian is making steady progress in the simulator but isn't yet at 100 per cent fitness.
Japanese Grand Prix weather forecast.
Friday
If there's going to be any wet weather running, it's probably going to come on Friday.
However, this has fallen from the earlier 70 per cent prediction during the week with forecasts now suggesting that the FP1 and FP2 sessions only have a 40 per cent chance of being affected by rain. Overall though, skies will remain looking overcast as the teams start hitting the track.
Saturday
The good news for those teams is that Saturday's running should be dry all day, with only a minimal amount of rain expected.
It could be the best ambient conditions for the weekend's running with temperatures even expected to clip 30 degrees Celsius. The track should be in perfect condition for FP3 and Saturday's qualifying session.
Sunday
And for race day? Clouds are expected to return but plenty of sun is still forecast and even less rain, with just a 10 per cent chance of precipitation for Sunday in Suzuka.

Dutch Grand Prix weather forecast.
Friday
Friday in Zandvoort is looking mainly dry, but with some patches of rain around. Free practice one is likely to see some rain, but as we head into the afternoon and towards free practice two, the weather should clear up with just a small chance of rain.
Wind shouldn't be a problem during practice, but may build heading into Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday
There are some showers around on Saturday, but on the whole the day will be dry and sunny. The start of free practice 3 may start off a little bit drizzly, but the afternoon will clear up leading to a dry track for qualifying, which starts at 3pm local time. Highs of 19 degrees.
Dry track should mean pole position for Max Verstappen in front of his adoring fans, shouldn't it? Well, both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have showed impressive pace over one lap in the dry at times this season, so it might not all be plain sailing for our championship leader.
Sunday
Following the relatively little competition for Verstappen at the front in the past few races, you'd forgive F1 fans for praying for some rain to maybe throw a spanner in the works at this weekend's GP.
Well, overnight rain on Saturday may lead to the track being a little green for the F2 feature race on Sunday morning, but you'd expect that race to allow for the track to be rubbered in ready for the main event in the afternoon.
Despite a few showers being around on Sunday, the afternoon will remain largely dry, and the track should be basked in bright sun for the race which starts at 3pm local time. We will see highs of around 18 degrees throughout the race, so track temperatures shouldn't get too high.
