Lewis Hamilton warns rivals that he will race on for 'at least another two or three years' ahead of British Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton has fired a warning to his rivals on the eve of the British Gp, saying he plans to race on for “at least another two or three years” as he seeks to become the most successful driver in Formula One history.
“In terms of how long I’ll go, that’s a bit of an unknown,” Hamilton said when asked about his future. “The Covid lockdown, whilst it was a negative in many ways, in some ways it gave a lot of life, a lot of energy, to focus on some other things.
That little bit of time off was a bit of breathing space. A bit of energy to perhaps go longer.

Yeah... I call bollocks on that one too Morini. A 7th WDC gives him the platform to push for the change I think he wants to see. The 7th title after today is pretty much his any way.

Personally I have no real problem with electric cars and (like it or not) we will all be driving them in the decades to come (even if we aren't watching them race).
I do have a problem with the hypocrisy of an F1 driver who had a private jet until last year and has probably burned more fossil fuel than most people on the planet now pretending to be an eco-warrior who has had some form of "conversion" whilst still involved in F1 and being sponsored by Petronas.
Credit us with a little more sense Lewis, please! At least wait until you have retired from F1 before you become a tree-hugger! The two aren't compatible!
