Some smiles might have filled me with a bit more hope.

Boullier looks like someone has just kicked his dog!

The Renault engine doesn't sound clean, and I think McLaren might be waking up to the fact not everything is going to be rosy for them this year with Renault. As a McLaren fan I hope Honda don't get it spectacularly right, as an F1 fan I hope they do. Think Alonso will be gone if Renault turn out to be pants as well.

Im not a driver guy, but I don't want Alonso to bow out with a gash car.

Lets hope they can get the mileage they need in testing.

They must be ruing that missed opportunity to not take the Mercedes engine because they were messing about, as Toto put it.

I'm a McLaren fan too. But most of me wants some Honda vindication.

Also, I'm not sure McLaren really is McLaren any more. I know most of the personnel are the same, but for me McLaren is Ron (and Ron is gone!). I want to see them come back, but I don't like the American influence. Sorry!

I see where you're coming from Morini, and I agree, but Zac seems down to earth and if he's successful in bringing in the much needed sponsors, I don't mind. Ron seemed too strict, I mean pit crew always having to wear trousers, that's just evil!

Eric B seems the least McLaren type guy in the F1 world.

McLaren not being McLaren? You know what? I have some sympathy for that view. Something doesn't seem 'right' about the team, the whole Alonso doing Indy 500 when performance showed at Monaco All so was in with a shot of a decent points haul... and now letting him do LMP1 with Toyota seems... well... not like McLaren. If this is how they are going to be run from now on, not sure I'll be supporting them. They're certainly not the McLaren of Senna and Prostate.

Well they have the entire day to themselves. So if they don't steal the show tomorrow they're in trouble. lol.

Will be interesting to see if all that investment in staff and facilities Renault have made over the last few years will pay off. They need to have a car that at the very least looks like it could be the best of the rest after the big three.

Sauber as well,no?

Renault Cyrill is still saying they are only 70% of what top teams are.
