Multi year deal as well.  Though the company car is defo the clincher here!

Was just pondering the comments in Ted's notebook about Nando complaining of the strong defence that Ocon put up at the beginning of the race.... "never have I ever.."

Was it likely that the decision had already been shared with Alpine and the gloves had come off as far as Ocon is concerned?

That makes zero sense to me from the team perspective. They have been going backwards ever since VJ sold the team. They may or may not be putting everything in place but so far I have seen nothing out of them to make me believe they will even be contenders yet alone champions.

I'm inclined to agree Neil but Fernando is known for making poor career choices. Alpine would certainly seem a better bet at the moment.

He's an excellent driver but he's rumoured to be a devisive influence in a team and perhaps he's rubbed someone up the wrong way and they've asked him to seek pastures new? Or maybe Lawrence Stroll has simply ponied up huge gobs of cash that he can't say no to? Lets face it they need someone other thans Lance to produce results.

Money.

I don't see Alonso ever winning another title, even if he has the equipment there are faster drivers coming through.

When I look fast, I'm not smooth and I am going slowly. And when I look slow, I am smooth and going fast.
