Right, a great spectacle today but (trying not to bring a downer on it) a 0.5 second gap between Mercedes and the next fastest car on a 63 second lap is way, way too dominant. If we want some tension this year then chances are it's only going to be between Lewis and VB. And we all know how that will most likely go over the course of a season.
We need RBR to give Verstappen a faster car otherwise I predict a walkaway for Mercedes. Maybe not tomorrow, I think Max will be right in there and will quite possibly win, but with a 0.5 seconds deficit that says to me the gap will probably be wider at proper tracks.
Perhaps I'm being too pessimistic?
