To be fair I only ever read Sky articles once in a blue moon and even less now due to the arseholes `r` us comments section being shut down, same goes for motorsport.com....I usually only go there to get a laugh at some of the ridiculous & outrageous comments (especially the mgp loons)....we all need a laugh sometimes
Yeah I quite like Ant also as he normally says it as it is without all the drivel attached
re benson article, I gave in and read it: Will have to check but im pretty sure Schumacher won the German gp 4 times not 3 and won a total of 9 times on home soil (as Nurburgring was classed as the european gp)....anyway although the article wasnt bad I still maintain the guy is a prize twat

Silverstone has played down reports about the new British Grand Prix race fee, with no one providing light on the amount of money that will change hands between the owners of the iconic venue and Formula 1’s new chiefs.

Having watched a rerun of the race this evening do we not mention what a complete and utter balls up Ferrari made again with their strategy this weekend. Leclerc yet again hung out to dry needlessly.
How long before people are Ferrari start to question all this stuff.
Forza I know you follow some of the Italian press sometimes are they saying anything?

Yes and no Neil, (admittedly I only read a few) from what I read on the Italian sites there seems to be more upset at the teams pit wall for not bringing CLC in 1 lap earlier and the less than perfect pitstop that brought the Ferrari out alongside the RBR, Yes Seb got a bit of a ribbing but nowhere near what he has following his previous blunders....are the becoming accustomed to these incidents or was his latest gaff overshadowed by the racing spectacle we witnessed?? Some sites continue the call for his removal at the end of the season should he not hand in his notice.
Thankfully their columns focus on the race its self & there is a lot of praise for a fantastic race, lots of comparisons to years gone by, lots of talk about the great wheel to wheel racing and calls for Liberty to scrap the majority of the "boring" races after Silverstone shows what a proper old school circuit can provide.

No, no. There was plenty to like about this race in addition to Max and Charles battles. I'm just glad all the important action happened at club A right in front of my chosen spot. How Verstappen came out ahead driving well off the track around last corner I'll never understand.
I had to watch the race in fast forward mode on Sunday night so I am certainly going to watch it all again when I get home Thursday night.
