Lewis Hamilton says goodbye to long-time performance coach Angela Cullen.
Lewis Hamilton has parted ways with his long-term right hand women, and also performance coach, Angela Cullen after seven years of working together.
Hamilton took to social media to announce the two had parted ways, Cullen having been a part of his personal team since 2016.
The New Zealander linked up with Hamilton in 2016 after his former physiotherapist and mentor Aki Hintsa passed away.
By his side for four of his F1 World titles, the 48-year-old was also one of the first to console the Briton when he lost the 2021 title on the final lap of the season.
“For the last seven years Angela Cullen has been by my side, pushing me to be the best version of myself,” he wrote.
“I am a stronger athlete and a better person because of her.
“So today I hope you’ll join me in wishing her the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams.
“Thank you for everything Ang, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you.”
