He would be foolish to even think of moving. As a Hamilton fan when/if he beats Schumachers records it will not lessen what Michael did in my eyes. He was one of the all time best (obviously). People will point to Hamiltons domination of the sport and that is fair enough. Michaels wins were equally dominant again with his team mate being his closest rival when the next driver was in the same post code as he was.
It takes both a great car and driver to win that many Championships. Both have won WDC with 2 teams. Their careers are very similar in many ways. I just hope one day Michael gets to live a normal life again but I think that chance is getting ever slimmer.
I just wonder how much longer Max Verstappen will be patient and stay with Red Bull. You have to say 2021 is quite possibly another domination by Mercedes (but we do not know that for sure). 2022 may be his year but it could also be someone else year.
All that said 2022 could be the first of the last true years of F1. I fear the changes going to be made will in the eyes of many ruin the sport but that is has been covered on other threads and I am sure will garner more words as time proceeds.
