Were do we start, well the simplest: That livery, always love the RB testing livery's really wish they would keep them for the season. This blue digital camo is one of the bets yet, with the white sponsor logo's, it's just refreshing. In all honesty liveries are one of the biggest let downs of F1 design, with advancement of graphics and applications such as hydro-graphics, liveries should be magical. Of course while maintaining the brand, which this does, expect for the yellow nose. Good to see bigger presence of Aston Martin, make it seem like a car car, instead of a drink car.

When KTM debuted in MotoGp they rocked up with this

This blew me away, so simple, so bold, clean, that menacing orange streak, fantastic. Come season livery, all coloured in, bland, tired Redbull colour scene.

Anyway.....

No renderings this time, this is the real deal.

Huge amount of fuss for the almost none existent side pods, or cooling. Scrabs note the split lines of the bodywork which would allow for various cooling to be added, he speculates that the shark fin split lines means it could be used for a cooling solution.

It actually has wings, I see them and for some reason I think Su-25 Frogfoot. No link to the barge boards is creating a huge open area to the side pods, can we expect some "flexing" on this area. Although this is just looking at the 'front view' side, angle and on track views show a link from sidepod inlet to the bargeboard.

As Jody called out, the suspension, wish bones angled, all for aero benefit? Could RB be most affected by the new 5mm ride height steering lock to lock regulation? Gained what they could by pushing a higher profiled front suspension rig?

Again floor profiling, are there more slots in the floor than we are used too...

(really wish I could embed a tweet)

From the shadows one could say there is little to no rake, but ofc this is a launch shot. Can we see more when its on track?

Will we get to see the 360 on board footage for the first time from the filing day? 360 cam, little black dome behind the front pitot tube on top of the nose. For some reason I thought the 360 cam was going be on top of the "T-bar".

Its very intriguing, do we see alot of Newey influence this time around? Possibly the suspension profiling?

Damn british weather hiding that diffuser!!

The rake, as expected.

There is rake on that car, I'm guessing the nose is higher due to the weather, ditto the rear, but there is rake, the last shot clearly shows it, but the shot following the car also makes it clear.

Red Bull RB14 Launch Analysis

This should put some smiles on faces.

sound frickin' ace, filthy. But these hybrids do in the wet, like Monza qualifying, they had a very distinct howl/whistle that you just don't hear in the dry, was really weird. Whether it was an engine setting or the wet tyres, no idea. So if it was an engine setting then maybe this video is a little skewed on what we can expect in the dry...

Some shenanigans going on with the side impact structures, do they exist, don't they....The shortest Mandela effect I've seen.

Yes, you get a good view of the rake even with the higher nose on the twitter vid

Like that livery a lot and it sounds properly mean. Way better than the hairdrier impressions from the first season with the hybrid v6's. I'm so glad the bread van shark fins have gone, but I'm never going to get over the halo whatever the health and safety nazis say.

Like all recent Red Bulls, it has the rear ride height of a monster truck. I know it is effective, but it spoils the aesthetics for me.

I think the hybrid engines do sound bit more raucous this year, the Merc sounded quite mean, even the Honda had a bit of throat to it. Might be the mic set ups though and teams trying to make their engines sound a bit louder / more appealing. We'll soon see I suppose next week when they take to the track properly.

RBR, is a looker ignoring the halo. Is it me or does the halo look bigger and bulkier on the Bull? Why can't Red Bull see that test livery looks far better than their standard purple(y) approach?

When I look fast, I'm not smooth and I am going slowly. And when I look slow, I am smooth and going fast.

The halo looks so bulky on the RB14 because they have slimmed the rest of the car down so much. Seriously, just look how much of the floor is exposed. If they don't have over heating issues I'll be amazed, but if they don't... Well, I doth my cap. It is probably the new standard for component packaging and the race to size zero in the sport.
