Hahahaha that made up for quite a bore fest for me

What happened in P2 then chaps? Didn't watch any, socialising and drinking someone elses booze instead. Is Hammy going to keep up his record of never winning a race once WDC secured? Mercedes surely need him and VB to show up this weekend.

Max looked interesting in P1 (watched a bit of it)/ I know P1 means bugger all, but a mixed up grid would be fun.

Any rain on the radar?

Brilliant Forza, Sebastian? a German with a sense of humour? Haha.     Laughing

I cant help Morini as I'm just watching FP2 now, Lewis looks ok so far but so does Seb & Max. Wink

I tend to mention Mercedes when it comes to preferring harder to softer compounds, but its actually Haas who have the bigger gains. Suffered at recent softer races, to come storming back here to be within a second of the leaders. Very good for teir 2 runners. Hopefully they can carry that pace through to qually and cause some headaches for the top tier wishing to start on the softs.

If fastest sectors are taken into account, VET would lead the session, but him BOT and HAM would all be with 0.1s. Be nice is qualifying was like that, but I don't see it as Merc improve more from the practice sessions, generally...

Merc had the better race pace, then Fer, then RedBull. Ferrari seemed to suffer more blistering than the others, RedBull had the least deg over the stints. Maybe that will bring RB back into contention in the race, but perhaps only with Ferrari as Merc control from the front.

According to Pirelli:
• between SS and S: 0.5s/lap
• between S and M: 0.5s/lap

Edit: What a bloody wreck the timing graphics were yesterday. The real time graphics was displaying whatever the hell it wanted, compared to the timing tower. It was easily throwing Crofty off, which just added to the complete dribble coming from him. Very little made sense, and thats even if he was in the right country.

RE: Brazilian GP 2018 - Jody Barton - 10-11-2018

I don't think either Ferrari or Mercedes have come close to showing their hands, temps were far cooler than they are expected to be today or Sunday. Sure Ferrari had blistering, but Mercedes didn't get as far into their stints as Ferrari did, but yeah, Ferrari suffered blistering, but given their car hates cold temperatures and dislikes harder compounds that's hardly a shock. I doubt Red Bull will be in it this weekend from what we've seen so far unless there's rain. My bet is Ferrari will be on top of their tyre issues and Mercedes will have got their balance right and the engines will be turned up today. However, it doesn't look like an easy one stopper for anyone right now, and the stints are showing enough that it could be a close race.

Lewis' engine is chucking out more smoke than a steam engine in FP3.

Chief engineer trackside just made the universal signal of it's dead, slitting his throat with his hand. Could be an engine change.

Looks like it's not terminal for Lewis, fingers crossed. They might get him out, but he's missing vital set up time here today.

Yeah, just a breather pipe fault/loose

Have to say Vettel and Ferrari looking good right now, however, who has their engines turned down the most?

Lewis' engine is still smoking like a chimney stack.

Yeah the Ferrari(s) has shown plenty of grunt but Lewis`s laps where a little scruffy, he never really hooked up a good (full) lap

Only watched parts of fp3....did they mention what the weather forecast is for the race?
