I am so pleased about this

What with the chuckle brothers normally acting like arseholes with their driver selection.

You don't understand; they prefer to switch drivers halfway during season.

Yes, unfortunately this is very true Anti. However, I hope Albon survives as I like him and I think he will get a lot better.

Will wait to see how he does with a full winter testing under his belt with the team, and a full F1 season. He's done as well as can be expected I think, but not pulled up any "trees". His performances so far have been slightly better than Gasly, which I assume is why he got the nod, but if he doesn't step it up next year I expect him to be gone for 2021, because slightly better than Gasly isn't going to be good enough for RBR.

Perhaps we should create new threads rather than 1 per driver as the subject title isn't really relevant? Anyway, we all seem to agree Albon doesn't deserve to keep the second RBR seat for 2021
Mika Hakkinen has a theory that I too have pondered. He may have a point

This is the kind of issue you face if you build a car / team around the one driver. Generally the successful WCC winning teams build the car with input from both drivers. I'm not saying Albon isn't at fault, but if RBR want to secure consistent two car performances then they will have to find some "middle ground" between Max and whoever is in the second seat.
I have questioned Max Verstappen's car development skills in the past. If they had kept Dan next to Max I have no doubt RBR would have an all round better car now.
