Still expecting them to be slower than RBR and Merc this weekend. They went with a fundamentally low drag, low downforce approach in 2019 and a few tweaks aren't going to cure their corner speed problems.

For what it's worth Neil, I agree completely.

I refrainied from continuing the conversation about the LeClerc / Hamilton incident at Monza as in my view that move set a dangerous precedent. The FIA bang on about saftey on one hand and allow high speed dangerous blocking on the other. I don't buy the "more like it used to me in the old days" bullshit either. That move would never have been acceptable, in any era. Back in the "old days" it would never have been accepted.

Hard racing is one thing, blatent dangerous blocking is a completely different kettle of fish.

So Max fastest in P1 and VB (Hamiltons only "semi" realsitic title challenger) puts it in the wall. Disappointed in him.

Morini, I've been disappointed in VB for 3 years. Sorry, but yet again today he's proved for me why Mercedes shouldn't have given him another 12 months. Same thing happened last year after his new contract, the mistakes started to come as he relaxed about next years paycheck.

Also FP1 at Singapore is the most pointless and unrepresentative session of the whole season. Utter cobblers.

Yeah, I know you are right Jody. But I still like him as a one lap specialist. I reckon he can beat anyone over a quali lap on his day. Race day is a different story though, weird how readily Toto can criticise his race craft but still put pen to paper for a 1 year renewal 

At the end of the day he has been reliable points for Mercedes this year.

In FP1 that will be a fine, I doubt a faulty sensor as they do calibration checks beforehand. I know it's only FP1 but it helps engine life, sooooo, it's a slam dunk. Any way, race pace only really Lewis and Max in it during FP2, so that's what I expected. Bottas, Leclerc and Albon way off if their respective team mates.
