Ahead of Sunday’s race, Hamilton posted a heartbreaking 17-second video to his Instagram account which he had received from Harry.
Mercedes have sent their Formula One car to the home of a terminally ill boy who Lewis Hamilton said inspired him to victory in Spain.
Moments after he recaptured the lead of the championship from Valtteri Bottas following his fine victory at the Circuit de Catalunya, an emotional Hamilton dedicated his triumph to Harry Shaw – a five-year-old who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Hamilton had been alerted to Harry’s tragic plight ahead of Sunday’s race after Mercedes showed him a video of support sent in by the youngster from his hospital bed.
Harry has since been transferred to his Surrey home for his final days.
And, in a touching gesture by the sport’s world champions, they sent a Mercedes F1 car to Harry’s house.
Harry was also presented with Hamilton’s winning trophy from Sunday’s Barcelona race.

What an amazing gesture by all concerned. I wish we as a an entire race cared more about each other than the stupid things we fight about.

Hamilton trains with boxing legend Chaves. (SKY Sports)
How about this for a warm-up ahead of a big sporting weekend? F1's world champion Lewis Hamilton got in the boxing ring with Mexico's multiple former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez for some sparring.

Lewis winning his 6th WDC has certainly upset a lot of keyboard warriors. The BBC sport hys is having a major meltdown this morning
If Lewis never wins another race or takes another pole for me he still ranks up there with the legends. Nobody can take those titles away from him however much the onlne trolls would wish it.

Enjoyable race I thought, regardless of tying up the WDC. Valterri had a blinder of a weekend, one of the best races I've seen from him. I would go as far as to say he is the fastest 1 lap team mate Hamilton has ever had (and I'd say one of the fastest 1 lap specialists on the current grid). If he can get the race consistency there is no reason he can't be a WDC.

I know you really rate Bottas Morini and its just differing opinions. Mine is he does not have it in him. In my opinion the consistent Bottas you refer to wanting to see is the one who finishes third, fourth and fifth in races. The exceptional side of Bottas is when he wins or finishes second. That is not to say he is not a good driver but there are a fair few others on the grid who would do better in that Mercedes than he does. Even outside the top three teams Ricciardo, Sainz and maybe even Hulkenberg would beat Bottas head to head over a season.
Lewis will never be an over whelming favourite with everyone but people should be more like Forza, they do not like him but respect his achievements. Greatest of all time always come with many different views and angles but safe to say the best of his generation by far nobody even comes close.

There is no other driver on the current grid (excluding Hamilton) who would be faster than him in qualifying if they were fortunate enough to take his seat. That is how much I think of his one lap pace. He has also shown he has what it takes to win races from the front and is typically scandi cool under pressure when leading. He is not the complete package, I have conceded that point on many occasions. Where the great drivers can make up positions in the race if starting down the grid he struggles a lot in this respect. That is his weak area, but I will stand by what I said earlier - there is no reason he can't be WDC with the skill set he has.

I can see a reason Morini, Lewis is in the other car.
