As to Porsche? That's happening now. They've shut down their WEC program, yet retained everyone, and are right now poaching and employing staff from other F1 teams. They're joining F1, or some other top line Motorsport... and given they've quit WEC that doesn't leave them many options.
I was referring more to Ferrari having to turn down engines and merc walking away with another title, please be wrong Jody, please be wrong

Well, sorry, I think the very fact Mercedes romped through last season with nary an engine hiccup, and had engine modes to spare, meanwhile the other engine manufacturers really, really struggle to stay within 4 engines per car, in fact they all failed to do so with every car they provided engines for... yeah... three engines they'll need to turn them down. Mercedes, well, I don't think they'll have any trouble at all. I fear that Mercedes will run away with it early doors until they're confident their engines can make the entire season. Sorry. If Allison works his magic in the chassis... well... Mercedes will be very, very strong.

I'm intrigued to find out where Allison takes the 2018 Mercedes. Will he be constrained by historical compromises in the Merc philosophy? Can't wait to find out.

Logo reverts back or a discarded concept (which is infinitely better) is used. Because the new logo is identical "F" to 3M Futuro logo. If it wasn't an american company it conflicts with, it would probably be swiftly settled. This could be a tedious.

The first Allison influenced Mercedes will be intriguing. The lack of T-wings, Shark fins and Monkey Seats means we should see longer wheelbases in 2018, as all these additions were designed to stabilise the cars, and clean the airflow up to the rear wings and diffusers. Without them the cars should need more floorbase and body work to achieve similar results, but shorter cars mean less weight, plus greater ability to move ballast around and drive with more rake. Plus with the halo adding weight up top it'll be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Whetehr or not this season but certainly near future, Introduction of drones with cameras.
Each car needs its own drone with 360 cam. They can replace the grid girls/kids. Hover above the grid slot with the driver number and name holo projected below. Then escort them round the track, from start to finish.
My previous sig was obsolete, McLaren ain't disappointing Heshy no more.

Imagine the crashfestival when cars get to close or crash into each other. As a bonus, we get crashing drones, doing a final kamikaze when falling down on the fleeing drivers.
Still, some drones would provide us with great images.

They'll just have some swarm programming to avoid each other. Easy : P
