Completely and utterly devastated. He'd shown some real promise this season and last, but regardless, 22 years of age is no time to check out. Just so deeply sad about this, and glad I wasn't actually there to witness it in person.

It kinda brings into sharp relief the cheering fans do when drivers crash. Sure, the sport is way safer now than it ever has been before, but it'll never truly be safe, and I've never liked the cheering when a driver crashes. If Correa makes it out unscathed it'll put to bed the halo discussions for me as Hubert's engine struck it full on and flipped his car.

Yet more loss this year, 2019 is not being kind to the racing world. Rest in Peace young star.
Here's hoping Correa pulls through.

One can understand the ceasing of the racing this weekend in F2, but racing on in honour might be more fitting.

I nice touch from the Spa crowd today,

A sharp reminder of the risks involved in motor racing, just absolutely crushed by this incident and the death of a young person. I remind myself that thankfully its not as many deaths as there used to be but its still one too many. It will not stop me watching but I dont think the enjoyment factor will be there today

RIP
