Always appreciate the Mercedes debrief.

I understand this could and probably will be seen as Mercedes bias but I really would love to see a discussion (not an argument) about Mercedes interpretation of the rules that James Allison refers to. Not by us Banterers but people who truly know the rules book in some depth. Its not going to happen I am sure. If James is quoting the book in the correct manner with the correct interpretation then some questions need to be asked of the race stewards.

Nice one mate I enjoy these.   Big Grin

Had no idea that Charles & Ferrari had used more fuel which helped Lewis catch Charles, it was obvious that the Ferrari preferred the medium tyre to the hard but this was new to me.

Shows how clever he is in that he can dumb down really complicated things to a level us mere mortals can understand.

Shows a good sense of humour too, what is your spirit animal? "my wife used to tell me I'm spiritually dead"     Laughing

Clearly that does not include a monetary amount to the damages to the egos of Horner, Marko and Verstappen.

Sad to see the racial abuse that is floating around today. I have never really understood it and I do not want to. To abuse people for any reason is unacceptable in my world but simply over the colour of skin... mind boggling.

People need to held accountable and whilst not directly guilty it is outbursts from people like Horner, Marko and to some degree Verstappen himself that promote these things and like I said above they need to be held accountable for their words.  Red Bull releasing a statement condemming the abuse is to say the least inadequate.  You guys helped promote this behaviour with your words and actions yesterday you need to look in the mirror instead of condemming others.

Edit: and as regards Max and his disrespect comment it never stopped you celebrating your Bahrain victory whilst Romain Grosjean had his major crash and his injuries were far worse than yours. Just more Red Bull entitlement.

I echo alot of the comments from the weekend. Especially this from NP!

RE: 2021 British GP - NeilP - 27-07-2021

It seems Red Bull are not letting this go at all. Not only choosing to get a lawyer involved but now appealing the penalty on Hamilton. If I were Mercedes I would also appeal Hamiltons penalty even though its pointless. I would also ask them to review Vertsappens none penalty especially the part were the video clearly shows him turning in on Hamilton.

This has got into the realm of stupidity I know Red Bull have a right to appeal I get that but the rest of the actions and the attitude coming out of that organization is totally unacceptable and before any one jumps down my throat about it let me just say this. It is setting a VERY BAD precedent for the future. Lets not forget a LOT of people saw this as a racing incident at best.

I hated Red Bull before this, now basically I hope the sky collapses in on them. Talking of Sky I must voice to them via email my disgust at the air time they are giving this clown who is in charge of that team... MOVE ON SKY, MOVE ON!!!!
