2019 Singapore GP - forzaferrari - 10-09-2019

RE: 2019 Singapore GP - NeilP - 12-09-2019

Expecting this to be a Red Bull vs Mercedes battle. If Bottas is going to stand any chance of catching his team mate (I dont believe he does) then this is a race he must win. I quite fancy Verstappen to do well around here and as a dark horse how about Danny Ricciardo he seems to like this place but I am not sure he has the car to do it in.

As I stated in another post I am a fence sitter about the race. It has in truth very little racing in it and even less than that up front! That said it is a spectacular backdrop and the night racing certainly looks awesome on TV. You know when you actually sit down and go through the races how many can we truly say there are plenty of opportunities to actually overtake. I think it is less than you think it is. So why we go on about aero dynamics and engine differences even if they were altered that will not necessarily make overtaking a breeze, easier maybe but by how much I wonder.

EDIT: This to me is why Silverstone and Suzuka stand head and shoulders above every other race, multiple places to pass, great visual circuits and both have everything needed for a great F1 race.

Its why its my favourite race weekend, because of the spectacle. every year there seems to be a new stunning feature located around the track.

Please don't forget  Spa....I love this track.F1 needs to revisit Kylami and introduce Portamao..
Both have great layouts and undulating tracks...too many new tracks are flat...imho

New DRS zone for 2019. It will be between Turns 13 and 14 - with the detection point 102 metres before Turn 13, and the activation zone starting 78 metres after Turn 13.

Still expecting them to be slower than RBR and Merc this weekend. They went with a fundamentally low drag, low downforce approach in 2019 and a few tweaks aren't going to cure their corner speed problems.
