RE: 2019 Spanish GP - Monster Hesh - 11-05-2019

jeez, so this is the last Spanish GP?
Have they just kept that quite, or have i just not been following closely enough?
Well, like we said, best savour yet another tracks last weekend...

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - Jody Barton - 11-05-2019

I don't see why changing tyre pressures to help with safety for two teams, they've changed tyre pressures in the past to help with Merc too. It won't harm Mercedes and if it aids performance and gives us a better fight I don't see the issue.

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - morini - 11-05-2019

Ant said all cars react differently, so I'm not sure how you can say that? My point was, if its done for safety then fine, if it's done to benfit one team over another then that is not fine (in my books).

Besides, Ferrari were clearly sandbagging yesterday. It just looks too good on track to be as slow as they appeared.

A spin for Vettel.

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - morini - 11-05-2019

Man, Lewis car looks a real handful. Massive snap there.

Oh dear. Bottas in the kitty litter. What were you saying about the tyre pressures?

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - Jody Barton - 11-05-2019

Cooler conditions causing havoc, so Bottas is out.

Did you see the end of Hamiltons out lap as well? Huge snap of oversteer, like he was getting on the hards yesterday. If it's going to be this cool later for quali then it could be a bit of a lottery.

Morini lower tyre pressures should help with warm up. They've just brought too hard tyres, C1, C2 and C3 and with only 80*C tyre blankets they've got no chance to heat them up.

Hmm.., ok, happy to take your word for it. But interesting that Ferrari looked so good on the track for their runs and the Mercs are all over the place. Complete contrast to yesterday. Yes, Vettel spun, but that was well into his run so I doubt that was warm up related.

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - Jody Barton - 11-05-2019

Vettels spin was out lap wasn't it

There you go, I was right 0.6 seconds quicker on the Mediums over the Ferrari's on the Softs.
