Oops, sorry. Blame the cheap red wine Wink

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - forzaferrari - 11-05-2019

Ferrari had more parts arrive during the night including another new engine cover, really hoping for the sake of the championship they can find something to challenge the Mercs, not looking good so far.

Merc revert back to old style mirrors

Well, that really would be a turn up for the books! Given that crappy slow speed circuits have been a Merc achillies heel for the last 5 seasons. If Mercedes aren't strugging at Monaco then the other teams are fucked and it really is a two horse race.

I'm not convinced on that one yet. We will have to wait and see. Monaco isn't my favourite event by any stretch, but it will give good pointers for other circuits like Hungary and Singapore.

Ferrari are either sandbagging big time today or otherwise they need to think about next year. Make or break weekend I think.

Yeah, I've been keeping a close eye on that aswell Jody. Last year after Merc's surprise dominance at Singapore, they said it was due to what they saw in Spain's S3.

While I'm sure this is not the most comprehensive of calculations, F1 website does have a simple corner speed delta graphic.

Right now, Merc are blitzing the Low speed sections of the track. Possibly indicating, they finally have a car for more than 80% of the calendar.

James Allison.

Several reporting on social media Pirelli have reduced minimum tyre pressures (based on fp1 & 2) from 20.5 down to 19.5

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - Monster Hesh - 11-05-2019

Yeah I reading that too. Maybe they saw too much blistering on the rears yesterday...

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - morini - 11-05-2019

20% chance of rain FP3. Hamilton still claiming Ferrari have 4/10 n the straights. Not sure I really buy that one.

RE: 2019 Spanish GP - Jody Barton - 11-05-2019

reducing tyre pressures will really help Ferrari, that's a good call. RBR were struggling to keep their rears in the operating window too.

Well, I hope that isn't the motive for it. But unfair if it is.

Besides, it's cloudy and cooler today. That will probably help them more than the 1psi.
