Yeah, well, what can you say? I've got the sound on today, wish I hadn't to be honest!

Be surprised if its not a silver front row lockout. Anyone think Mercedes wil try to clear Q2 on the mediums.

Shit, GR just blotted his copybook. He's been so good up to now too.

Mercedes in Lewis' hands have the pace to get through Q2 om the Mediums, question is would you want too? For me, no. The run down to T1 in Spain is one of the longest in F1 so you want the grip off the line. You don't want to be snaffled by faster starting cars behind you on softer tyres. Those are my thoughts.

And that Williams is a pile of shit.

Session over. Lewis is on it here today.

Yup, think you are right. The Mercedes don't appear to have wear issues on the softs so I guess that is the tyre to start on.

I'm gutted Williams are so poor. Love to see what George could do in a better car.

Right, catch you all during quali. Got to go mow the lawn now.

I think the tyre pressures have actually helped Haas, TR and Renault most.

Unless Ferrari have a rocket in the back of their car they've not been using until now... Sheesh... it... is... looking... GRIM!!! I hope to God that half a second isn't the gap, but I fear it actually is. If that's the case this season is over. It's gone. The race stints yesterday were staggering. Just the be clear, what Ferrari and RBR were doing in their stints were eye opening, those stints were a good 2 seconds a lap quicker on average over last year... It's just Mercedes were eye watering, and we're a second quicker again. If you have a good car in Spain, you have a good car anywhere. The Mercedes W10 is a beast. Allison has done an amazing job.

George Russell will take a five-place grid penalty for the Spanish Grand Prix thanks to a gearbox change ahead of qualifying.

I am not sure anyone can say that with 100% certainty. Mercedes have dominated at this circuit since the hybrid era started, but they have still had weak circuts in all the years gone by. The only year Mercedes haven't won here was when Ham and Ros crashed and handed the win to red Bull, yet they were at the front of the field then too.

Mercedes have been poor(er) at the low speed stuff, but it certainly apears that they have rectified this with the W10. They possibly will be strong everywhere this year, but it's a little too early to say for sure.

He might as well. Nothing lost there.
